This pendant from Boru Jewelry has been inspired by the Winter Solstice - the longest night of the year - and a time where you can celebrate the new beginning as daylight begins to grow and the long nights become shorter and shorter. It has been crafted of sterling silver and plated with rhodium. The rhodium is a silver-tone metal that helps to slow the tarnishing process, allowing this necklace to look its best for ages. At the center, an 18kt yellow gold bead shines, like the winter sun. The swirls are reminiscent of spirals found across Ireland, like Newgrange, a key place in Celtic history when it comes to the Winter Solstice. Tiny trinities add some flair and little white stones add razzle dazzle. This pendant is large, eye catching but surprisingly comfortable to wear. It measures just over an inch across and it hangs from a swinging bale. This style of bale allows the piece to move, giving each stone a chance to catch the light and sparkle brightly for all to see. The included chain is an 18” sterling silver spiga style chain. It features an easy to use and secure clasp, so you can feel confident as you wear this pendant, honoring your Celtic heritage.
