Known as the “gemstone" of Ireland, Connemara Marble was formed well over 600 million years ago and it is mined on the west coast of Ireland in the Connemara Mountains. It is by the luck of the Irish, this naturally occurring marble is green- just like the Emerald Isle itself. Shades of green go from pale / almost yellow to deeper shades of green and grey as well.
