The Celtic High Cross differs from other Celtic crosses only in that it’s lower arm is longer than the other 3 (having a more traditional cross shape) and it typically has a wider base. The meaning remains the same. Each arm can represent the four seasons, elements or directions. The halo behind represents the circle of life or how everything interconnects. Saint Patrick likened the Celtic cross to the cross that Jesus died upon and the halo behind signifying Jesus' love, so you can view the Celtic cross as a Christian symbol as well.
