A large and beautifully crafted Celtic cross for the wall of your home!
The Celtic Cross is an old symbol… first used to explain the four elements of Air, Earth, Fire and Water. Each arm of the cross would stand for each element. The circle behind can represent the circle of life or how all things connect. In later years, the cross has been adapted and become so very important to the Christian faith: The traditional cross shape standing for the cross Jesus died upon and the circle becoming a halo - the ever lasting love of God. The inclusion of Celtic knots throughout the arms further shows the meaning of eternity - as the lines never break.
This piece is stunning. Hand crafted with much attention and care paid to every last detail. It’s big - large enough to be a focal point in any room, yet lightweight enough it’s easy to display. Celtic knot work decorates the arms of this cross. Celtic squiggles decorate the halo behind. There is a small hole at the top in the back for easy hanging on a nail or screw. The color is deep and rich, truly eye catching. Cross measures approx 15.25”H x 9.75”W x 1”D
