The triple spiral, or triskele, is one of Ireland’s most ancient symbols and is famously carved into the stones at Newgrange. Its three flowing spirals have come to represent many meaningful trios, including life, death and rebirth; past, present and future; and the enduring connection between faith, nature and the human spirit.
