The subtle sparkle of marcasite really brings character to this simple Celtic cross.
Marcasite is a semi-precious stone, closely related to pyrite. It adds a little shine to the piece, while maintaining an old-fashioned & antique look to pieces it decorates. This sterling silver pendant is a simple Celtic cross design, with the four arms adorned in little cuts of marcasite. The sterling silver is textured, giving depth and that little extra special touch to this cross. The halo behind the cross is an un-decorated circle, a nice contrast to the stoned arms. The cross swings freely on a nice bale, hanging from an 18” sterling silver chain. The chain features a spring loop clasp, for ease of putting on and taking off. It will stay secure in place as well. The cross pendant measures approx 7/8”H x 5/8”W
